Questions
- Do I need sync?
- Only if you use donote on more than one device, or want to share workspaces. Without it, donote is a complete app that keeps everything on your computer.
- How private is sync?
- Your notes, images and settings are encrypted on your device with a passphrase only you know, before they're sent. The sync server only ever stores data it can't read.
- How does sharing work?
- Invite people by email to a workspace, to edit or only view. Everyone in a shared workspace needs sync of their own. A shared workspace counts toward its owner's storage.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Sync stops at the end of the period you've paid for. Your notes stay on each of your devices, and donote keeps working as the free app.
- How do I subscribe?
- Here, with the Subscribe button: use the email you sign in to donote with. Or in the app on your Mac or PC: open Settings, then Sync, sign in and choose €5 a month or €48 a year. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime at link.com, where Stripe keeps it.
